Title: Colonial Architecture

Wood for the trees

'Wood for the trees' is an installation of ghostly life-sized trees; a forest to get lost or found in.  'Wood for the trees' examines our complex relationship to notions of community and self.

Rachel Joy's work is concerned with the constructed nature of space, place and history in the collective consciousness.  She is a Graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts and has exhibited at the Counihan, George Paton, and Margaret Lawrence Galleries.
